Our soap making classes/courses are held every 1st, 3rd and 5th Saturday of the month from 4pm to 6pm (Private courses and parties are available on other dates as well). Beginner courses are held every 1st and 5th Saturday and Advanced courses are held every 3rd Saturday.

Beginner Course:
 
In this course you will learn how to make a basic batch recipe of soap. You will learn the following in this course:
*Proper universal soap making safety precautions
*Soap chemistry
*Soap making terminology
* Various soap making oils and their benefits
*How to scent soap with fragrance oils
*How to properly color soap
* A step-by-step demonstration of making a batch of soap.
 
You will get to opportunity to make soap with your own hands under my guidance. All soap making materials (oils, fragrance, lye, water, butters) and molds will be provided.  Upon completion of this course you will take your hand crafted soap batch home with you to use after curing or to give out as gifts. You will also receive literature from this course, recipe, as well as be able to purchase soap making supplies from our shop.
 
These courses are restricted to individuals who are 18 years of age or older due to caustic and hazardous materials. You will also be required to sign a waiver of liability form as well.

What To Bring/Wear:
 
You must wear pants, enclosed shoes, long sleeve shirts (If it is too hot for long sleeves please bring a change of clothes with you. You must have pants and a long sleeve shirt) and an apron if you have one. Please do not wear you good clothes as soap batter can get everywhere.

Soap Making Course Policy:
Our courses are designed for a maximum of 6 students per scheduled date. This often requires us to refer students to other dates available when we are filled. All course/ class sales are final. When you sign up for our course we are reserving our time and gathering the necessary materials for the course. This involves setting up raw materials, printing and designing your course content and general labor. No calls or no shows will not be allowed to reschedule nor will refunds be given. If in the event you are unable to attend a course due to an emergency, scheduling conflict or inclement weather we will allow for up to one (1) reschedule at a later date (during another course date that is not full or a date and time that has been approved by us).
